A&E | LIVE PD

It’s not often network TV series actually hold up to the superlatives used to describe them in promotions - like a “franchise phenom” or “one of the wildest shows on television”. But in the case of Live PD, it’s all true. According to Nielson data, Live PD has been both the most watched series on cable and the #1 new series on cable. Now in its 4th season, the show airs live Friday and Saturday nights with 2-hour episodes and is syndicated on The CW Plus. 

Our creative relationship with Live PD started way back in 2019 when our friends at A&E called on us to create the look for Live PD's showing at that year's Upfront. The look we developed was so well-received, A&E then asked us to expand the Upfront graphics into a full promo toolkit for the show. 

As the 2020 Upfront approached, A&E's marketing team tasked us to create graphics for the presentation's Live PD cinematic universe: a franchise that includes Alaska PD, America’s Top Dog, Police Patrol, PD Cam, and Live PD Wanted. This time, we knew going in we wanted to create a graphic world that could also be used as Live PD’s promo package. In line with A&E’s brand that relies on authenticity and realism, we created a premium graphic world illuminated by photorealistic police car lights.
