HISTORY | IN SEARCH OF | PROMO

Zachary Quinto stars in History’s reboot of the classic series In Search Of, which explores unsolved mysterious and unexplained phenomena.

The live action spot features Zach driving down a dark road witnessing odd events before arriving at a vista point where he steps out of the car to observe the great unknown.

In addition to the logo design and promo graphics toolkit (further below), we contributed VFX and compositing which includes green screen replacement for the interior car shots, creation of moving environments outside the car windows, sky replacement, addition of car headlights & taillights, and other various VFX.

LOGO DESIGN

Inspired by the original 1970's logo we created a contemporary version that still harks back to the original but improves upon the proportions, styling and composition of the lettering. 

The original was based upon the typeface Motter Tektura designed in Austria by Othmar Motter of Vorarlberger Graphik in 1975 and was famously also used for the logos of Apple Computer and Reebok.
